The Mission of Mourning Glory Funeral Services is to give families choices that are affordable while providing a professional and dedicated level of service. Our staff will assist you to create a meaningful tribute to your loved one.
We opened Mourning Glory Funeral Services because losing a loved one is a high enough price to pay.
Setting
There is a comfortable, warm setting with a welcoming entry; two arrangement rooms where one of the Funeral Directors; John Schachtel, Sue Panattoni, David Polzen, David Schurr, Matthew Kozak or Lisa Ruf will meet with the family; a viewing room where a family can gather to view their loved one before burial or cremation; a kitchen where the coffee is always on; an office where the paper work and administration is handled; and a preparation room for holding and preparing your loved one prior to the funeral service. The directors and staff are dressed comfortably to help families feel at ease. Often the most difficult thing a family must do is walk through the front doors of a funeral home for the first time. At Mourning Glory we try to lessen that fear and anxiety. The service is kind, compassionate, efficient, genuine.
Parking
Parking is available in front of Mourning Glory Funeral Services on 8th street; on the side street to the west of Mourning Glory (Munroe Avenue South); or in the parking stalls off the back lane.
