Charles James Doyle

July 23, 1946 – March 11, 2017

We are sad to announce the passing of our husband, grandfather, stepfather, brother, uncle and friend, Charles James Doyle, in Penticton, BC. Following a short illness with cancer, he left this life, with his loving wife Anita by his side. Chuck will be desperately missed and loved always by his granddaughter Amber (Brent) Neibergall, their children Conor, Sean; granddaughter Nicole (Riley) Gutek, their children Dagon, Sullivan; stepdaughter Danielle Campbell (Greg Gudmundson), their children Bobbie, Alec, Maisie; stepson Chris Campbell, his family Breann (Karter) and Curtis. Also left to cherish precious memories are his sister and family: Darleen (Ron) Niles - daughter Brandy (Jonathon) Nieuendyk, their children Justin, Blake; daughter Rhonda (Kendal) King, their children, Elizabeth, Parker, as well as numerous extended family members and close friends. Preceded in death by daughter Arleen (in 2002), parents Irene and Charles Doyle, and younger brother Dale. Chuck dedicated 28 years to KWH Pipe in Saskatoon and Edmonton. Following his retirement in 2010, Chuck and Anita travelled annually to their winter home in Arizona. Here they discovered adventurous new hobbies together including motorcycle rides, most favourably the Christmas toy run, and accompanying Anita on her geological rock seeking. We extend our sincerest gratitude to family and friends who supported Chuck and Anita through these last difficult few months. Dr. Van Den Berg's care and compassion was exceptional and we are forever grateful to him. We appreciate the home care RN's and staff at Moog and Friends Hospice House offering personal comfort while providing the medical care for Chuck throughout his illness. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to a charity of your choice. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 29, 2017 at St. Francis Xavier Roman Catholic Church (222 Willow St.) in Saskatoon.
