Erwin Myrl Starner

Erwin Starner passed away peacefully on Monday, October 30, 2017 at the age of 86 while residing at the Sunnyside Care Home. Erwin was born to Myrl and Minnie and had 4 siblings - Loretta, Darryl, Sharon and Dennis. He grew up helping on the family farm and being a boy, there was never a dull moment! Erwin and Helen lived in various locations across Canada eventually making their final home Saskatoon. During Erwin’s career, he had many trades over his lifetime—he was a journeyman industrial mechanic, a journeyman carpenter and a journeyman barber. During his spare time, one of his favorite hobbies was leatherwork. He made beautiful wallets, purses and belts. He was predeceased by his wife Helen and son Robert. He is survived by his sons Jack (Marlene), Jim (Donna) and grandson Marc. At Erwin’s request, no service will be held. Arrangements in care of Mourning Glory Funeral Services.
