She is blessed to have 3 sisters, Suzanne (Les), Madeleine (Maurice) and Diane (Denis) as well as 3 brothers, Donald, Clement (Linda), Bertrand (Connie) and many phenomenal nieces and nephews. She attended Holy Cross School of Nursing in Calgary and spent the next 43 years caring for the needs of others. From the joys of labour and delivery to overcoming the fear of working during the SARS epidemic in Toronto, to caring for patients in Recovery Room at St. Paul’s Hospital. Jacqueline loved working alongside her colleagues whom she considered as family. She loved gardening, which began as a young girl with her Mom in the family garden. Every new growing season inspired much excitement as she thought about what variety of seeds she had, what she needed and where best to plant them. She nurtured her garden like the Mother she was, with immense amounts of love and care. Her curiosity, wonder and awe carried her around every corner and over every hill. Her love of travel culminated in a dream trip to Machu Picchu, Peru in 2016 with her 3 sisters. She made it all the way to the top of her world. She has now completed the final leg of her journey and is now resting peacefully with Mother Mary and Jesus. The Vigil for Jacqueline will be held Monday, September 4 at 7 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, September 5 at 10:30 a.m. Both services will be at the Cathedral of the Holy Family, located at 123 Nelson Rd, Saskatoon, SK.
