Joseph BeauvillierJune 8, 2017
July 5, 1937 ~ June 8, 2017
It is with heavy hearts that the family of Joseph “Joe” Beauvillier, 79, of Allan, Saskatchewan, announces his passing away on June 8, 2017, in his sleep. Joseph was born near Paradise Hills, on a farm in Saskatchewan, July 5, 1937. Here he farmed the homestead from the age of 14 to the age of 37. Joseph was married to Harriette (Sheppard) on December 26, 1974; they were married 43 years. Having lived on a farm where the family had to make do with what they had, Joe learned to be inventive. Learning fast from trial and error, he was very smart at whatever he tried his hand at: welding, woodworking, self-taught mechanic and inventor. Even cooking, sewing, knitting and crochet were something he was willing to try his hand at. He would help anyone make their work load lighter and was always willing to offer an idea on how to make things run smoother. He was just all around a good man. Even though he loved his hobbies, family was most important to him, and he always found time to spend every free moment with his family. Later after moving to Allan, he put his inventive skills to use working at PCS Allan Potash Mine as an underground crew member for 27 years. Before retiring and becoming a hobby repair man for anyone that needed something fixed. Many times we hear how his repairing skills were invaluable. Joseph was invaluable and will be greatly missed by family and friends. Joseph is survived by his spouse Harriette, daughter Cara Beauvillier, three sisters, one brother, many nieces, nephews and good friends. He is preceded in death by his parents Louis and Marie Beauvillier and three brothers. Interment and grave side service will be held at Butte St. Pierre at a later date. The family of Joseph wishes to thank Luther Care Special Care Unit and volunteers for their care and comfort of Joseph and Mourning Glory Funeral Services for their kind services.
