Joyce Martha Elizabeth Hultman

May 8th, 1931  - February 1st, 2018

Joyce passed away peacefully at St. Paul’s Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. Joyce was a member of the Asquith Senior Centre, Arelee Ladies Aide and more importantly, a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother (GG). She loved gardening, tending to her flowers, knitting and making the best apple pie ever. She took great pleasure in watching her family participate in various sporting activities. Mom and Dad always had the coffee pot on and enjoyed the many visits from family and friends. For the past 3 years, she enjoyed her stay at the Villa Royale where she made many friendships and her frequent vists from her family. Joyce is lovingly remembered by her children Karen (Ed) Fertuck, Linda (Don) Davidson, Jere Hultman and son-in-law Gerry Meissner; grandchildren Clayton, Natasha (Kevin), Tyson (Kim), Mitchell (Brooke), Jorden (Rebecca), Cauy, Josh (Christina), Andrew (Kasi), Claudia (Jadon) and Olivia; great-grandchildren Tylar, Alyssa, Madison, Braylyn, Jaycee, Carter, Quinn and Maeve; nieces and nephews Cliff (Debbie) Gordon, Ron (Tracy) Gordon and Sharon (Denny) Rice. She was predeceased by her husband Ken; daughter Gail Meissner; parents Philip and Amy Cattell; and sister, Phyllis (Archie) Gordon. Memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation (1738 Quebec Ave #26, Saskatoon, SK S7K 1V9) or to the Saskatchewan Lung Association (1231 8 St E, Saskatoon, SK S7H 0S5). A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 24, 2018 at Asquith United Church in Asquith, SK. The Interment will be held at a later date at the Asquith Cemetery.
