He was always excited to share his excitement for his many adventures with family and friends. His love of nature, being active, and his dedication to leaving the electronic world behind led to his passion for biking, running, hiking, and camping of which he was happy to do alone or with people he cared about. Through cadets, Nolan was one of fifty cadets from across Canada selected to participate in PARA, a basic military paratrooper jump school in Trenton Ontario. He earned his wings and had the honor of being top cadet, which was the proudest moment of his life. Nolan’s creativity was expressed in painting, drawing, woodworking, and metal work, as well as playing piano, clarinet, drums, guitar, and bagpipes. In his spare time, Nolan loved to read.
