Katherine Kosolofski, died peacefully in her sleep at Stensrud Lodge on May 8, 2012 at the age of 86.  Katherine, cherished mother and grandmother, will be greatly missed by her family.  She is survived by her five daughters, Bernadette (Daniel) Lamourie, and their son, Michael (Stacy) Tanchuk; Philipine (Lawrence) Pereira and their children, Christine (William) Mahon, Charla Pereira, and Robbie (Stephanie) Pereira; Agnes Pelletier, and her children René Pelletier and Madeleine Pelletier; Cecilia Elizabeth (William Dustin), and her sons, Jeremy (Kristan) Laughren and Curtis Laughren; Catherine (Randall) Smith, and their daughters, Angela (Brett) Dark and Jocelyn (Jeffrey) Zurakowski; great grandchildren, Cole, Ashton, Josie, Liam, Xavier, Alexander, Jillian; her two sisters, Pauline Bilawich and Elizabeth (Arnold) Schlapkohl; predeceased by husband Edward and grandsons Andrew Tanchuk and Patrick Laughren.  Katherine was a loving and devoted mother and wife.  She dedicated her life to her husband and to providing an exceptional home environment for her daughters.  She worked alongside Edward in his Esso Agency in Meath Park, SK and later as outfitters at Rainbow Lodge, Piprell Lake, SK.  Nana was a patient and nurturing grandmother.  She doted on her grandchildren, spending endless hours playing games with them and cooking their favourite foods.  The family would like to express their sincere thanks to the staff of Stensrud Lodge for the compassionate care they provided Mom during her last year of life.  In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to a charity of your choice.  Prayer Vigil will be held at 7:00 pm, Friday, May 11 at St. Francis Xavier Parish (222 Willow St., Saskatoon); Msgr. Raymond Senger presiding. The Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 am, Saturday, May 12 at St. Francis Xavier Parish, Bishop Donald Bolen celebrating; Fr. David Tumback con-celebrating.  Arrangements are entrusted to David Polzen - Mourning Glory Funeral Services (978-5200).
