Dad was called Home doing what he loved on April 25, 2012--a month shy of his 70th birthday. Ted will be forever missed by his devoted wife Sharon, three children, Paul (Shannon), Jon (Sarah), Brenda (Stuart) Whiting, and granddaughters, Emerson and Avery. He was predeceased by his parents, Waldemar and Sarah Lehn, and son, Ira. Ted was a man who needed nothing more out of life than his family by his side and the wide open range to ride in. The music he made was a beautiful by-product of his unshakable faith in the one true God and Saviour, Jesus Christ. The family gratefully declines flowers. Donations may be made to Gideons (382-1538). The Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, April 30th, at the Dundurn Hall, Dundurn.

Sharon, it was just such a shock to hear of Ted''s death. My mind immediately went back almost 42 years ago when I was your maid of honor, witnessing your marriage to your wonderful husband and seeing how happy both of you were.

My heart goes out to you now in the loss of Ted. I can''t imagine the pain you are feeling but I hope that it is a comfort to know that there are many people who are grieving with you.

We pray for God''s comfort for you, for His arms to hold you and His love to bring you peace. You have many wonderful memories with your dear husband to cherish for the rest of your life.

We send you and your family our love and prayers.

Hi Sharon,
Shirley and I want to extend to you our condolences and let you know that our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. We know that God''''''''s comfort and everlasting arms are upholding you. We have many fond memories of our times together back in the Glenside Alliance Church days, and I really appreciate the updates I get through Brenda, when we are working together. I would have loved to be able to get to the funeral, but understand that it was a great celebration of a God-centered life. May God be especially near you and may you be encouraged by the many friends who love you and think of you often. God bless, Ray
