Judith, formerly of Aneroid, passed away on April 25th, 2012 at Circle Drive Special Care Home in Saskatoon at the age of 95.  She was born on January 1st, 1917 on her parent’s homestead.  She attended South Pinto School, a one room schoolhouse, and enjoyed working on the farm with her father.  In 1935, she went to work at the Brook’s family dairy near Aneroid. She worked at the dairy until she married Edwin (Ted) Corbin in 1939.  They farmed Ted’s parents' homestead until 1975 when they retired.  Judith and Ted sold the farm to son Art and moved to Aneroid.  Judith was predeceased by her husband Ted (1976); parents, Nels and Bertha Nosback; in-law parents, George and Lucy Corbin; sisters, Myrtle Bjerkestrand and Anne Gabrielson and their husbands; brother Orville; brother-in-law Alf Corbin and sister-in-law Annie Pain and their spouses.  She is survived by two sons, Gary (Karin) of Saskatoon and Art (Catherine) of Aneroid; five grandchildren and three great grandchildren – Marci (Regan) Herbst and their daughters Olivia and Elizabeth; Lisa Corbin (Nicholas Fowles) of Calgary (Marci and Lisa’s mother, Lori Corbin of Calgary); Erin Corbin (Mark Rempel) of Ottawa; Bryan (Vicki) Corbin and son Calvin of Saskatoon; and Michael Corbin (Sheila Partington) of Maple Creek. Judith’s deepest passion was for her family and for the farm.  She was an avid knitter, crocheter and cribbage player. Respecting her wishes, there will be no funeral. A family memorial will take place in Aneroid at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Aneroid 50 + Seniors Club, the Abilities Council, CNIB or Circle Drive Special Care Home. The family extends a special thank-you to the staff at Circle Drive Special Care home for their compassionate care and support.
