Words seem inadequate to express my feelings on hearing of the death of your father, my uncle Bill. My family and myself have you in our prayers and are here to support you with anything you need. Your dad was a remarkable man. At the age of 6 years old he was running home from school in Shaunavon Sk. with his report card when he was hit by a 1929 Chevrolet. You can see by his accomplishments that the accident didn't slow him down one bit. When his father died he stepped up and went to work for R.J. Fyfe giving much of his earrings back to his mom to keep the family going. When my mom, Betty needed to start over he helped her move to Saskatoon and supported my mom as she went back to school to make a better life for her family. And as you remember during that year you had a segregate brother as Uncle Bill took me into your home to help my mom as she got back on her feet. It was a very special year for me as I remember the love in your home, Aunt Roses Christmas cake, your Dads compassionate ways and meals in the small kitchen. I remember Bruce sharing his Tonka toys with me and Wendy pushing me on the swing set. Uncle Bill , your dad was a remarkable man and I will miss him deeply.

Dear Wendy & Bruce,
We happened to be in Saskatchewan on the weekend and saw the obituary for your father. I was flooded with memories of both your Dad and Mother, in Saskatoon and up at the lake. I''m so very sorry for your loss and you will be in my thoughts today.
