CLARENCE GERALD “JERRY” JOHNSON
September 22, 1918 – December 2, 2017
Jerry passed away peacefully at Sunnyside Adventist Care Centre on Saturday, December 2nd, 2017, at the age of 99 years. He is survived by his loving wife of 75 years, Anne; his children: Ed of B.C. and Judy (Murray) Eddy; grandchildren: Scott (Chantel) Eddy, Marci (Nathan) Veeman, Jennifer (Andrew) Ficzycz of Okotoks, AB; daughter-in-law Joan and her children Matthew and Mitchell Johnson; great-grandchildren: Brandon Eddy, Jordan and Riley Veeman; as well as many nieces and nephews across Eastern Canada. He was predeceased by his son, Bryan, in April 2016. Jerry was born in Sydney, Nova Scotia and moved with his family to Saskatoon in 1945. He worked at the University of Saskatchewan as a Steam Fitter for 38 years retiring in 1983. He was the youngest of eleven siblings and the only surviving of that generation. They spent many winters in Mesa, Arizona. Dad loved to sing and was in the church choir and Chimo Chordsmen for many years. Cremation.
