 Delores Anne CANNON

With sadness the family announces the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother and sister. Delores Anne Cannon passed away peacefully in Saskatoon, SK on Thursday, August 22, 2019.  Delores was born on September 19, 1947 in Wilkie, SK.  Delores married Neil Cannon and afterwards moved to Saskatoon, SK.  She was a devoted teacher for many years until her diagnosis of multiple sclerosis forced her to retire.  Delores enjoyed coloring and doing puzzles, but most of all spending time with family and friends.  Delores was a strong woman who battled with her health for many years.  She put up a long courageous fight, until she lost her battle to cancer.  She was predeceased by her husband Neil Cannon; mother, Anne Werachowsky; father, Mike Werachowsky; and brothers-in-law, Stan Suchan and Allen Rivett.  Delores is survived by her daughter, Diane (Sean) Beaulieu, grandkids, Brexton and Dawsyn; son, Michael (Heather) Cannon, grandkids, Ava, Beckett and Trinity; sisters:  Diane Suchan and Janet Rivett; brothers-in-law: Bill (Anne) Cannon and Peter (Maxine) Cannon; sisters-in-law:  Susan (Adolph) Fischer and Brenda Schwab; as well as numerous nieces and nephews and a host of very good friends.  Liturgy of the Word will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 27, 2019 at Windsor Chapel (704 Windsor Street, Saskatoon) with Rev. Fr. Graham Hill, CSsR presiding.  Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery.  Arrangements are in care of Aime Laventure – Mourning Glory Funeral Services (306) 978-5200
