Douglas John Landreth

July 14, 1964 – June 30, 2017

Doug was born to Bernice & Doug Landreth in Neilburg, Saskatchewan on July 14, 1964.  He grew up on the farm with his siblings, Jim, Don, Bev, and Vivian.  In this small town, he found and married his high school sweetheart, Lana, and they married on July 28, 1990.  They lived in Saskatoon for their entire married life and were blessed with two beautiful daughters, Shelby and Lexie.  He cherished his daughters above all else and was a hard working, loving father.   In recent years, Doug struggled with health issues related to alcoholism that ultimately led to his passing on June 30, 2017.  He spent his final days at the cabin where he loved to be.  He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Lana, daughters Shelby & Lexie, mother Bernice, sisters Vivian & Bev, sister-in-law, Janet and nieces, Vanessa, Robyn and their families, extended family Pat & Lucille Gibbons, Wendy & Greg, Mark & Cez, Tenille, Sean & Jordan, Miranda & Jesse, Aaron, Stephanie & Lindsay, and numerous friends, family and loved ones.  He was predeceased by his father, Doug, his brothers, Jim & Don, infant sister, Margaret and brother-in-law, Don.  The memorial service will be held on Friday, July 7 at 1:00 pm at the Sheraton Cavalier Hotel - Southwest Room (612 Spadina Crescent East, Saskatoon),  with refreshments to follow.  He will be laid to rest in his home town of Neilburg, SK alongside his father and brothers at a later date.  Donations in Doug’s memory can be made to the Canadian Mental Health Assoc.
