As much as he loved and as strong as “Big Steve” was on the ice and on the field, he first and foremost had a strong love for his family. Steve will be dearly missed by all who knew him. The family would like to thank Dr. Basi and his staff for their kind and caring compassion when Steve needed it most. A Private Family Service will be held in Saskatoon. Later his cremated remains will be returned to Sarnia, ON. Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the University of Saskatchewan.
