 Emmanuel “Manny” WELDER

With great sadness, the family of Emmanuel Welder announces his passing on August 8, 2019 at St. Paul’s Hospital at the age of 77 years. Manny was born on July 26, 1942 to Mike & Marion Welder in Bradwell, SK.  He was raised in Allan, SK and moved to Saskatoon after marrying Elaine Bruynooghe in 1970.  Together they had 3 children, Pam Cameron (Jason Switzer) of Olds, AB, Blair Welder (Robin Kelly) of Calgary, AB & Tanya Welder of Agassiz, BC; as well as grandchildren, Bretton (Mahlon), Graysen & Jaeden Cameron.  He is survived by his sisters:  Mary Kucher, Helen Milbury, Katie (Bill) Nowakowski, Maggie Welder, Loretta Zaporozen; brothers Murray & Frank Welder; along with numerous nieces & nephews.  He was predeceased by his parents and brother’s Gabriel & Edward.  Manny was a hardworking man as a glazier and cement finisher who had an affinity for helping those around him.  He loved working on his sister Helen & Russell Milbury’s farm near Young, SK during seeding & harvest throughout his lifetime.  He loved to visit with friends and family and anyone he met on his journey.  In keeping with Manny’s wishes there will not be a funeral.  A Celebration of Life will be announced in the future.
