“A wish of Dad’s was to live to be 90 – His wish was fulfilled!”


Harold will be lovingly remembered by  his children:  Brian (Arlene), Darrell (Diane), Elaine (Murray), Shirley (Tim), Gloria Kraft, Joanne (Darcy) and Terry (Laurel); fifteen grandchildren and their significant others; twelve great- grandchildren; brother Wilf (Sonia); sister Anita Russell; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.  Harold was predeceased by parents Kasper and Katherine Kraft, wives Doreen & Gerry; brothers and sisters-in-law Isidore and Therese, Elmer and Betty; and brother-in-law Jack Russell.  Harold was born in Allan, SK on August 1, 1929 to Kasper & Katie Kraft.  He was involved in many businesses throughout his life which kept him very busy.  He was an avid fan of the Saskatchewan Roughriders and enjoyed watching the Blue Jays.  He enjoyed watching curling, especially following his grandchildren as they curled, and loved a good fishing trip when the opportunity arose.  A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 10, 2019 at Windsor Chapel (704 Windsor Street, Saskatoon) with Pastor Steve Menshenfriend presiding.  Interment in the Allan Cemetery to follow at a later date.  The family wishes to thank Persephone Care Home where he resided for 1 ½ years previously and most recently Central Haven Special Care Home for their compassionate care as he resided there these past one and half years up until his passing.  In lieu of flowers, please consider a charitable donation be made to Central Haven Special Care Home (1020 Avenue I N, Saskatoon, SK S7L 2H7) or a charity of your choice.  Arrangements are in care of Travis Minor – Mourning Glory Funeral Services (306) 978-5200.
