Hilary Adamyk

Hilary was born in Regina, SK on January 31, 1949. He was predeceased by his mother Marie, brother Louis and numerous uncles, aunts and cousins. Left to mourn are his brothers Rod (Fern), Patrick, Michael: and his children Michelle and Keaton, sister Celine (Keith): and their children Kayla (Chris), Ryan and Shaun, as well as great nephews. His past employment included farming, foreman of CP in Nokomis and trucking which he did for 22 years. Hilary enjoyed watching sports, especially baseball, football and curling. He loved to fish and play cards. Hilary was very proud to be the best man at his brother Rod’s wedding. He had many friends at McAskill Manor where he last resided and would often join them in fellowship in the common room. He ferociously debated politics with anyone who would join in. Hilary was a gentle soul but yet very tough. He thoroughly enjoyed family get togethers when possible. His presence will be deeply missed. We would like to thank the people who visited Hilary in the hospital, especially Theresa McLean who gave her love, care, time, gentleness and warmth towards Hilary and his family. We would also like to thank Royal University Hospital nursing staff in ICU and 6th Floor Medicine who took wonderful care of Hilary. Their patience and kindness towards Hilary is very much appreciated. Lastly, we would like to thank Mourning Glory Funeral Services for their compassion and understanding through this difficult time. An Interment will take place at Green Acres Cemetery in Weyburn, SK at a later date.
