A Celebration of Life for Justin W. Filteau, age 26, of Saskatoon, will be held on Friday, June 14, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. at Circle Drive Alliance Church (3035 Preston Ave. S.) in Saskatoon. Justin passed away suddenly in a plane crash outside of Medicine Hat. He is survived by his parents Ron & Nancy Filteau of Webb, SK, his brother Tyler (Chloe) & nephew Theo of Vancouver, his maternal grandparents Bill & Trudy Jewitt of Webb, numerous aunts, uncles & cousins. He was predeceased by his paternal grandparents Edward & Laura Filteau of Saskatoon, and cousin Angelica. Justin had a love for sports. He played Football for AE Peacock High School Tornados, Saskatoon Hilltops and U of S Huskies. He continued to inspire youth and to give back, coaching numerous football levels. Justin was also actively involved in Judo. He had competed at the National level. Again inspiring and giving back by coaching and being on the Executive of Judo Sask. Justin was a goaltender on two sr. men’s hockey teams. He was known for work ethic. He was currently working as a machinist for Croatia Industries. Justin, in his short 26 years has touched and inspired many people. If people would like to wear any sports jerseys or jackets to the service, please do. We would also like, if anyone wants write down any stories about how Justin has affected your lives or his shenanigans or his adventures. We will collect them and put them in a memory book.
