Ken Ebbert passed away on Saturday, May 5, 2018 at the age of 82. Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife Marie, son Wendell of Okla, daughter Alaryce Shea (Keller and Roan) of Bay Village, Ohio, brother Dean (Marg) of Red Deer, sisters-in-law Frieda Ebbert of Broderick, Violet Hrapchak, Vivian (Ed) Ryma and Van Mostowchuk, all of Saskatoon, and Dianne Mostowchuk of Creelman, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Ken was predeceased by his parents Elmer and Jenette, brothers Ernest and Conner (June), in-laws Dora and Phillip Mostowchuk, brothers-in-law Victor Hrapchak, Ken Bohrson, Sam Mostowchuk and nephew Randy. Ken was born in Quill Lake, SK on July 20, 1935 and grew up on the family farm near Broderick. He worked for Toledo Scale for 9 years. He then worked 27 years as a Medical Equipment Technician in Engineering & Maintenance at Royal University Hospital. A Celebration of Ken’s Life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at Augustana Lutheran Church (1201 Broadway Ave.) in Saskatoon, with Pastor Marilyn Fowlie-Neufeld officiating.
