HEIDT, Marion Helen

 

Marion passed away peacefully in the early hours of March 12, 2019 at the age of 89. She was born to her parents Andrew and Anna Schan on September 17, 1929 in Tramping Lake, SK. Mom married the love of her life James Cameron Heidt on October 22, 1947 and made their first home on a farm in the Kerrobert area. Throughout her life, Marion enjoyed dancing, playing cards, bingo, cooking and eating. Marion was known for her love of her family and friends. Her greatest joy was being anywhere near her family. She is lovingly remembered by her children Myles (Jean), Marlene, Dwayne (Debbie), Kevin (Michelle), Corrine (Blain), Dale (Judy) and Wes (Leslie); grandchildren Trent (LeeAnn), Devin (Leah), Dean (Mandy), Cheryl, Dwayne, Lee (Lisa), Scott (Tarin), Chelsea (Doug), James (Tanya), Jessie (Derry), Ashley, Nicole (Jay), Max (Kirsten), Nikayla (Joey), Richard (Lindsay), Ryan (Tasha), and Adam; great-grandchildren Tyler (Leah), Miranda, Riley, Layken (Megan), Ashton, Kyla, Carter, Raina, Brianna, Larissa, Kendra, Jared, Gracie, Megan, Skylar, Keegan, Emma, Hanna, Callie, Nixon, Haylee, Destynee, Kaylee, Ava, Nixon, Lexi, and Jace; sisters Georgina, Betty (Allan), Lorraine (Gerald), and Margie (Jack); brothers Mark and Ernie (Audrey); and many beautiful nieces, nephews, and cousins. Marion was predeceased by her husband Cameron Heidt; daughter Karen; grandson Dale; son-in-law Joe; parents Andrew and Annie Schan; brothers Daniel, Stephen, and Jerry; sisters Bea, Florence, Hilda, and Linda; brothers-in-law Don, Darrell, Willis, Keith, and Carl; and nephews Dallas and Darrell. On behalf of Marion and her family, we would like to say thank-you to the amazing and incredible staff of Central Haven Special Care Home. They truly became an extension of our family and their love for Mom was evident in all they said and did. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 16, 2019 at St. Francis Xavier Roman Catholic Church (222 Willow Street) in Saskatoon with Fr.
