VANDER LINDEN, Martina “Tinie”
It is was sadness, the family announce the passing of Tinie at the age of 92. She was dearly loved and is remembered by her 3 children: son, Ray (Jr.) (Patti) of Calgary, AB; son, Tony (Kathy) of Saskatoon; and daughter, Darlene Campbell of St. Albert, AB; 4 grandchildren: James and Brodie Vander Linden; Kim Vander Linden and Kori (Mike) Wesson; 4 great-grandchildren: Annika, Olivia, Gabriel and Stevie Wesson. Tinie was predeceased by her husband Ray, of 60 years, her parents, as well as 1 brother and 5 sisters, and son-in-law, Glen Campbell. Tinie was born in Grave, Netherlands and in 1953 immigrated with her husband. In 1957, Tinie and Ray founded the Rosetown Bakery and in 1964 moved to Humboldt where they founded Ray’s Bakery. They later moved to Saskatoon in 1969. Tinie enjoyed her summers at Wakaw Lake, spending time with family and friends. After retirement, Tinie and Ray spent their winters in Texas, Florida and finally settling in Mesa, Arizona. They also very much enjoyed travelling extensively, whether to visit family or just to experience and explore new places. A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 11, 2018 at Windsor Chapel (704 Windsor St.) in Saskatoon.
