Mary Androsin, 91, of Saskatoon passed away peacefully, surrounded by family on Monday, November 6, 2017. Born January 28, 1926 in Gilbert Plains, MB, Mary, the eldest of three children, is survived by her sister Natalie Basaraba and brother Maurice (Eleanor) Romaniuk. She was predeceased by her husband Alexander and son Kevin, and leaves her son Donald (Karen) Androsin, daughters Dyan (Ronald) Durant, Jennifer Conan (Terry Sanftleben), Cindy (Garth) Walker, and daughter-in-law Heather (Dale) McVicor. Mary loved to travel, cook, garden and entertain. Her passion for life was contagious. Her grandchildren (12), great-grandchildren (12) and great-great-grandchildren (8) were the light of her life. Our mother, Baba, Great-Baba, and Great-Great-Baba will always be remembered for her never ending love of family, energetic soul, and strong faith. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, November 10, 2017 at St. Paul’s Cathedral (720 Spadina Cres. E.) in Saskatoon. The Rite of Committal will take place at St. George’s Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery in Watson, SK.
