With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Mary Uglish, 97, of Saskatoon, SK on Tuesday, November 26, 2019. She was born on May 7, 1922 in Moldova, Poland. Her family immigrated to Canada in 1939. Mary married Walter Uglish in 1940, where they farmed in Henribourg, SK until 1974, then moved to Prince Albert, SK. Mary is survived by her sister Tina, grandson Fraezor (Debbie) and family, grandson Pat (Sharmaine) and family, and granddaughter Eroca and family. Mary was predeceased by her parents Joseph and Antonia Poddany, sisters Olga and Helen, husband Walter, daughters Anne and Adrien, and granddaughter Sharon. Prayers will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, November 29, 2019. The Divine Liturgy will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 30, 2019. Both services will be held at the chapel at St. Volodymyr Villa (3102 Louise Place) in Saskatoon. Celebrant will be Rt. Rev. Vladimir Mudri. Interment will follow at 3:30 p.m. at Henribourg Cemetery, in Henribourg, SK.
