November 21, 2020 11:05 AMDear Family, I am so sorry for your loss. Losing someone is one of life most difficult experiences. Our Creator knows the pain this causes us and he promises to end all sickness and death with his incoming new Kingdom which we pray for when we say the Lord's Prayer, where we ask "Thy Kingdom Come." One of the scriptures that assures us of this hope is at Isaiah 33:24 which says, "And no resident will say: I am sick." Another scripture where Jehovah is describing his Kingdom conditions is at Revelation 21:4 and there we read, "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away." In this new Kingdom God promises to resurrect those who have fallen asleep in death and return them to us, John 5:28 tells us "Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out," I hope this brings you comfort.
