Dziadyk, Regina

December 8, 1943 - March 27, 2021

Regina Dziadyk (nee Niedzielski), passed away March 27, 2021 after a lengthy illness. She was predeceased by her parents Anton and Frances Niedzielski; her sisters, Florence, Margaret, and Gloria; her son-in-law, Gord and her brothers-in-law. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 58 years, Eugene and their daughter Raeleen, and her children, Layne, Paige, Mary and Jonah; her sisters, Sylvia, Shirley and Bernadette and her brothers-in-law. Regina was born on December 8, 1943 in Cudworth and grew up on the family farm near Vonda. She was the middle child of a close-knit family with three older sisters to guide her and three younger sisters to mentor. In 1962, she married Eugene and they started their new life near Aberdeen. She loved the country, but their life took them to Saskatoon. Regina worked at the bank for a time but found her true passion working on various crafts and projects. She was a talented gardener and seamstress, but she also loved to get lost in a good book. Regina and Eugene welcomed their daughter, Raeleen, and Regina became a loving and dedicated mother who enjoyed helping with various activities and serving on numerous committees. She devoted many hours to caring for her family and those around her. Raeleen and Gord began their family, and she was blessed with four beautiful grandchildren, whom she loved to guide and nurture. As their baba, she spent countless hours with them and loved to catch up with the events of their day. Baba always had wise words to share and a desire to help them build a strong foundation in their lives. As a couple, Eugene and Regina demonstrated a life of devotion to one another and they faced life’s adventures together. They navigated the realities of life by learning to lean on each other. Regina faced many health challenges throughout the years, but her unwavering and steadfast faith carried her through these trials. She lived her faith and was a great example for those around her. Baba Regina was always concerned for those she loved and would always say, “Call me when you get there!” You are home now, Baba. Rest peacefully. We will miss you. A Private Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 31, 2021 with live-streaming available at:  Arrangements in care of Mourning Glory Funeral Services (306) 978-5200.
