It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Rhonda which occurred on Thursday, July 22 at the St. Paul’s Hospital Palliative Care Unit after a courageous battle with cancer. She leaves her loving husband Blair and children Cara (Nathan) and Curtis (Cheyenne). She was a very loving Nona to Nova, Isaac, Cohen and Neve. She is also survived by her mother Marlynn, brother Jeff (Lisa), sister Gwen (Jim), several nieces, nephews and extended families. She was predeceased by her father Robert and granddaughter Bria. Rhonda was born in Milden, SK. At a young age she moved to Saskatoon where she completed all of her schooling. Rhonda had a long career as a Nurse, first at Frank Eliason Center, then Royal University Hospital and finally at City Hospital. Rhonda spent a lot of her younger years as an avid camper, swimmer, and had many fun filled trips to Calgary and through the mountains. Later she expanded her travels to the Philippine’s, Europe, United States and loved her extended winter vacations to Mexico. Rhonda had a passion for sewing. She spent many hours perfecting their vacation wardrobes, making beautiful quilts and creating unique clothing for the kids, as well as numerous other projects. In recent years Rhonda and Blair took up Ballroom dancing. They enjoyed the weekly classes and always looked forward to all the dances. They stayed active with Yoga and going on daily morning walks. Rhonda had a very kind, giving heart and will be dearly missed by all her family and friends. In lieu of flowers donations may be directed to the Breast Health Centre or St. Paul’s Palliative Care Unit.
