I have such fond memories of Bob's playful nature, his sense of humour and his interest in and ability to listen to others.  It was a lifetime ago I visited Calgary as a kid and met Brian, Pam, Garth and Leah, who were a great group of loving and interesting kids!  I remember scaling a drive-in fence or something with Garth and sleeping in a camper out back.  Visiting Uncle Bob et al was the favourite part of that trip.  He was simply a warm and wonderful human being who always made you feel important. Bob and I also shared a birthday.  I am so sorry for your loss.

Dear cousins, Brian, Pam, Garth and Leah: yes, indeed, I remember your dad to be a real gentleman, good-humoured and always smiling, and a really a nice man. Yours is a big loss given he was much loved. You have my deepest condolences at this very sad time for you, Ollie and your families. Uncle Bob will be greatly missed.
