Robin Joan McQuatt (nee Dutkowski)

September 18, 1944 – August 28, 2020

It is with great sadness that we wish to announce the passing of our dear mother, Robin, on August 28, 2020 after a lengthy illness.  Robin was born and raised in Regina, SK.  She attended Sacred Heart Academy then went on to spend two years at Notre Dame College in Wilcox, SK.  Mom had a lot of fond memories of Pere Athol Murray and was very proud to be a fighting “Hound”.  She loved to travel and had visited almost every state in the US as well as all across Canada.  She was passionate about flowers and gardening, animals of all kinds, babies, a good cup of coffee, and a great story.  Mom had a great interest in genealogy and spent the last few years researching her maternal bloodline.  The most important thing to her was her family, especially her two grandchildren, Devon and Brooke, to whom she was affectionately known as “Baba”.  They were the light of her life and she was extremely proud of them. Mom, your love and laughter left an indelible mark on everyone you met.  You will be greatly missed.

Robin was predeceased by her father, Arthur Dutkowski; mother, Helen Gamble; brother, Dewaine Dutkowski; sister, Lorraine Gamble; husband, Ellis Maryniak; and husband, William McQuatt.  Left to mourn her passing is her stepfather, Leonard Gamble; son, Todd Maryniak; daughter, Kimberly McQuatt (grandson, Devon Lovegrove; granddaughter, Brooke Lovegrove); stepson, Spencer McQuatt; stepdaughter, Candace McQuatt; stepson, Cory McQuatt; and countless other relatives and friends.

Funeral arrangements entrusted to David Schurr of Mourning Glory Funeral Services, Saskatoon, SK.  Donations in Mom’s name may be made to any local animal shelter.  There will be no funeral service at this time.  A Private Family Gathering will occur at a later date.
