 Vivian PUSHIE

Vivian Pushie (Olson), age 96 and living at Stensrud Lodge in Saskatoon, passed away peacefully on August 25, in her room at Stensrud, with niece Carolyn and Stensrud staff at her side. Vivian was born on April 13, 1924 in Broderick, SK.

Vivian was a loving wife, mother, sister and friend. She was married to Howard Pushie, who preceded her in death, for 57 years. She was the daughter of Alvin and Florella Olson (Ganes). Vivian was the oldest of 12 children and was preceded in death by sisters Florence (Ted) and Joyce (Roy), brothers Edwin (Kay) and Malcolm (Ella).

She is survived by sisters Ida (Bob) and Sharon (Jim), brothers Jarle (Judy), Ron (Delaine), Ken (Donna), Lloyd (Betty-Lou) and Larry (Irene).

Vivian is also survived by two sons, Wayne (Ruth) and their daughter Alison (David) and their two sons, Auden and Arthur and their daughter Megan, son Grant (Debbie) and their daughter Carman (Ryan) and children Sydney and Dayne, their daughter Jennifer (Daryl) and daughter Kassidy, and son Chris (Holly) and their daughter Addison.

Vivian was also loved by many nieces and nephews, cousins and in-laws. She had a special relationship with her niece Carolyn Olson-Albrecht who visited her weekly at Stensrud for many years.

Vivian lived in Birch Hills for many years before the family moved to Melfort and later to Saskatoon. For 13 years Vivian and Howard lived at Scott/Forget Towers. Vivian spent the last 7 years in Stensrud Lodge. She thoroughly enjoyed her time at Stensrud and was dearly loved by the staff there. Vivian will be remembered at a Graveside Service at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, September 11, 2020 at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Saskatoon. The service will be live streamed for those who cannot attend  Arrangements in care of Travis Minor - Mourning Glory Funeral Services (306) 978-5200
